Speciality areas:

The doctors of Island Foot & Ankle specialize in conditions of the lower extremity. We pride ourselves on utilizing both conservative and surgical treatment to attain the best healing potential for our patients.

We have close relationships with our local colleagues specializing in Orthopedic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Infectious Diseases. These relationships allow for a team approach which ensures that we have access to the latest and most specialized patient care available.

Podiatric Medicine

We offer advanced conservative therapies to treat many different lower extremity problems. These include but are not limited to:

  • Tendon pain
  • Sprains
  • Fractures
  • Nail problems
  • Painful digits
  • Plantar Fasciitis (heel pain)
  • Ankle pain
  • Flat foot
  • Gait (walking) abnormalities

Podiatric Surgery

All of the doctors at Island Foot & Ankle are residency trained podiatric surgeons. When conservative care fails to address the issue, surgical treatment may sometimes be necessary. We have surgical privileges at many hospitals across Suffolk County. Minor procedures are also performed in an on-site surgical suite. Request an appointment today for more information.

Wound Care

The doctors of Island Foot & Ankle have significant experience in dealing with chronic wounds. Most wounds can be treated in office. When difficult wounds arise, our affiliations with local wound care centers allow our patients access to advanced wound care therapy and technology.
